The annual India Clean Air Summit is rich in research. In 2024, the organisers CSTEP brought in Chetan as media strategy consultant with two tasks: find select guests who would widen the programme’s scope, and could draw more press coverage for the new studies and speakers.

He developed the media plan based on how a newsroom works, and worked closely with the client’s in-house communication team. Over the five days, more than 50 national and regional publications ran stories from the summit.

Multiple stories were put out on each day’s press release, with the headline and other takeaway points written in a newsroom style.

“Chetan worked with us on the India Clean Air Summit 2024, providing guidance on programming and communication strategies. We received good reviews for the programming, and I was quite happy with the stories that came out. I highly recommend Chetan’s services to others planning similar conferences or needing support for communications strategies.”
