Who we are
NextClimate Media Private Limited (“NextClimate Media”, “we”, “us”) is responsible for the personal data collected through this website. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules, and, where they apply to you, other data protection laws such as the UK and EU GDPR.

What we collect
- Contact form: your name, organisation, email address, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, and your message.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- Discovery calls: if you book through our Calendly widget, Calendly collects your name, email address, chosen time and any answers you give, and shares them with us.
- Technical data: basic information your browser sends, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, through server logs and, Google Analytics cookies (see “Cookies” below).
- Correspondence: anything you send us by email or social media.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not include it in your messages.
How we use your data
- to reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement;
- to arrange and hold discovery calls;
- to send our newsletter, if you have subscribed;
- to run, secure and improve the website;
- to meet our legal obligations.
We use your data only for these purposes. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Our legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent (for example when you submit a form or subscribe), for legitimate uses permitted by law (such as responding to a request you have made), and to comply with legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, under appropriate confidentiality and data protection terms. These include:
- website hosting and maintenance providers;
- Calendly, for booking discovery calls;
- YouTube, which may set cookies when you play an embedded video;
- Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC), which helps us understand how visitors use the website.
We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
International transfers
Some of our service providers store data outside India. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected and transferred only to countries not restricted under Indian law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and correspondence data for as long as needed to respond and for any resulting engagement, and then for 3 years unless the law requires longer. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- access a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to erase it;
- withdraw your consent, including your cookie choices;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity;
- raise a grievance with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

Cookies
The website uses only the cookies needed for it to work, plus Google Analytics cookies, which help us understand how visitors find and use the site (for example, pages visited, time spent on a page and the type of device used). This information is reported to us in aggregate form and we do not use it to identify you. We set Google Analytics cookies only if you accept them in our cookie banner, which is managed by CookieYes. We keep a record of your choice (the date, time and the categories you accepted or rejected) as proof of consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time using Google’s opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), and Google’s own privacy policy applies to the data it processes. Embedded YouTube videos load only when you press play, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. The Calendly booking widget loads only when you click to book a call, and Calendly may then set its own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
This website is intended for organisations and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
